I liked the fact that, on your last logo, you used a lightning bolt to act as the #1. I didn't like that fact that there wasn't much going on in this one though, as opposed to your other two. To correct this i would add more lightning bolts to the background. You do this by copying and pasting an image of your selection, of a lightening bolt, onto your picture.
I think the skull design is pretty cool. I think you should take out the gradient background because it has colors that aren't part of our required colors. Just delete the gradient layer and make the background a solid (approved) color. Everything else is cool though!
I liked the design of the lightning and skull. On the creative director there could be more design though.. You could do that by adding more lightning bolts or color. To do that you could go to Google and select the lightning bolt that you like and copy paste it to your logo, for color you select the brush tool, choose what brush and color you want then design it.
I like the layout, it attracts people's attention to the log. The one little ting that i would change is the white on the skull. I would change it by using the magic wand tool to elect the white parts of the skull then i would use the bucket tool to fill the white areas with one of the colors that the team chose.
